Most of my family members, however, are on the Switch and don’t want to play on PC unless they can transfer their saves over so they don’t have to restart from the beginning. My system of choice to play Sunbreak right now is on PC because I like how well the game looks and plays on it. What makes it worse is that the folks I play with are now scattered over various systems. The opposite is true for my Switch version where I’m loaded with stuff from Rise but still working to catch up to the endgame for the Sunbreak content.Īs much as I love Monster Hunter Rise, I don’t know if I have it in me to start the game for a third time and do all the necessary work again to get my PS5 version up to speed, especially since I have other games I need to play and also review for work. I’m super far in the end game in Sunbreak for PC but lacking a lot of the event gear and other items from base Rise because I had to speedrun through low and high rank to get to Sunbreak. Also, my ginormous TV that my PS5 is connected to only goes up to 1080p which is likely why a lot of my display options are grayed out.
